Although my biggest sites have outgrown shared hosting, I still have the need for low-cost hosting every now and then, and I have a long history with Siteground. I find their support to be excellent, and although I never did any speed tests, I was not surprised to read some recent studies praising their speed.
So, with managed WordPress hosting (that includes good support) starting at just $3.95 a month, what’s not to like? If you can afford it, I actually prefer their 2nd tier service (called GrowBig) because it includes an additional speed enhancement in the form of memcache, a service they call SuperCacher.
Take a look at Siteground, and let me know what you think.
